Description
A new big release to look forward to:
The great organ of the Stiftskirche in Stuttgart (Germany), built in 2004 by the well known Mühleisen company. The organ comprises 83 stops on four manuals and is used with great success in the well established "International Organ Summer" concert series in the Stiftskirche and is well known for its exceptional qualities.
The organ is universal in the best sense of the word, as it combines elements of various styles in an excellent way. It is offering a wide choice of colours and a tremendous tutti. It is set up such that the Hauptwerk, Rückpositiv and pedal towers are located in front of the church tower and speak up openly into the church, providing the ideal sound for baroque music. The two enclosed divisions stand behind and provide the more symphonic qualities. All in all an instrument to really look forward.
